Pre-Quenching Preparation for
Shearing Blades:
Cleaning: Thoroughly remove all residual cutting fluids and tapping oils from drilled and tapped holes.
Coating: Air-dry the blades and apply a specialized anti-oxidation and anti-decarburization coating.
Drying: Place in a drying oven at a constant temperature of 60°C for 2 hours.
Plugging: After removal from the oven, use asbestos or refractory clay to plug all through-holes and blind-tapped holes.
